Richard & Diane BurleyON STAFF SINCE 2002Hello, my name is Richard Burley. Thank you for visiting our web page. My wife Diane and I would like to share how the Lord has worked in our lives. When I was 11, I was sent away from home for not obeying the law. My mother, being the Christian she was, worked with my probation officer and sent me to a Christian boys home where many seeds were planted on a daily basis. If only I knew then what our Lord had in store for me! It wasn’t until Diane and I were married and I was 37 years old that I trusted Christ. Here’s how the Lord worked. Our daughter was saved while dating a young Christian man. We were invited to visit their church the same summer they were to be married. At this small town church, we realized the seriousness of sin in our lives and how we needed a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. That was the beginning of a brand new life. Then, in 2001, our pastor invited Open Air Campaigners to our missions conference. God used the guest speaker to encourage our church to be out sharing our faith. We signed up to go down to Boston for a one-day evangelism outreach. The amount of lost people overwhelmed us. Although our lives were very stable, we felt God calling us into full-time ministry. It was confirmed later through continuing ministry with OAC that we definitely knew we were to serve the Lord in New Hampshire and Massachusetts through OAC in a full-time capacity. Then in obedience to the Lord, we moved to New York City in 2012 to reopen the OAC Branch in that spiritually needy area. Anniversary: 1/17/72 BIRTHDAYS: Links for the Burleys' ministry: |
