Jeff & Kelli KarlichON STAFF SINCE 2018
Jeff was blessed to be born with Christian parents that took him and his two siblings to church regularly. He was saved at the age of six while listening to an evangelist speak at a revival potluck dinner. He met his wife, Kelli, while working and going to college. As a teenager, Kelli often attended church with a friend and was saved during her junior year of high school. They have have two children, Evan and Sarah. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Jeff loves hanging out with his kids, playing and watching sports (especially his hometown Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns) plus spending time outdoors. Jeff and his family serve together at New Life Baptist Church in Grove City, a suburb southwest of Columbus. Since he has been at New Life, God has grown Jeff in many areas spiritually, but maybe evangelism the most. He now has a passion for spreading the good news of Jesus. Mission trips to Texas, the Philippines and Mexico have built his faith and increased his awareness of the lost. He is burdened for revival in the church and taking the Gospel to those out of church. Although Jeff surrendered to missions as a young boy, it was only when he heard an evangelist mention the ministry of Open Air Campaigners (OAC) at a men’s retreat a few years ago that he clearly saw God open a door to do full time missionary work. Since hearing God’s call, Jeff has continued to gain experience with OAC at downtown, college campus and inner-city events. Jeff and Kelli took part in the Boston Sketchboard Evangelism Training in 2016, attended the OAC candidate school in 2017 and were officially appointed as staff missionaries in 2018.
